SILVER LAKE
Ceremony and Reception Venue
Situated mid-mountain at the base of Bald Mountain, you’ll find the Silver Lake Lodge. At an elevation of 8,100 feet, this lodge features spectacular views along with a diverse array of exquisitely appointed banquet rooms and gathering spaces. Intimate weddings or large scale events will shine in the mountain ambiance of the Silver Lake Lodge.

CEREMONY OPTIONS Silver Lake Deck Homestake Ceremony Site Great Hall
AVAILABILITY In the early spring while snow is still on the ground, ceremonies will take place indoors. As spring transitions into summer, ceremonies will be held on the deck. During the peak of summer while our chairlifts are spinning, ceremonies can move to the Homestake ceremony site or stay on the deck. As the summer ends and chairlift access becomes limited, ceremonies will return exclusively to the deck. Finally as autumn continues and the temperatures drop, ceremonies will once again be indoors.

EMPIRE CANYON
Ceremony and Reception Venue
Located at the base of the spectacular Daly Chutes lies the Empire Canyon Lodge, at 8,300 feet of elevation. Although less than two miles from Silver Lake Village, Empire Canyon Lodge features a remote, dramatic, alpine setting with breathtaking views. This venue is an outstanding choice for weddings, receptions, rehearsal dinners, banquets and an array of outdoor functions. Five distinctive rooms totaling over 7,000 square feet offer slate and granite fixtures, smooth cedar walls and vaulted ceilings. The large deck is ideal for hosting outdoor gatherings.

Orion Meadow Cushing’s Cabin
AVAILABILITY As the snow begins to melt in early spring, ceremonies will be held indoors. When spring gives way to summer, ceremonies can take place on the deck or lawn. In the height of summer, while the chairlifts are running, ceremonies may be hosted at Orion Meadow or Cushing’s Cabin, or remain on the lawn. As summer fades and chairlift access becomes more limited, ceremonies will be held on the lawn or at Orion Meadow. As fall settles in and the temperatures start to drop, ceremonies will once again move indoors.

Executive Chef Peter Menteer
Enhance your special day with award-winning cuisine, exquisitely crafted and presented by Deer Valley Resort’s renowned culinary team. With a commitment to using the freshest, highest quality, and most local and sustainable ingredients, we ensure that every dish is as memorable as the occasion itself. From passed hors d’oeuvres to elegantly plated dinners, your guests will be treated to an exceptional dining experience that will leave a lasting impression. Chef Menteer oversees Deer Valley’s renowned culinary offerings and joined the resort in early 2022 from his home state of Montana where he worked as the Executive Chef at the Stock Farm Club in the Bitterroot Valley in Hamilton, Montana. After studying culinary arts at The Western Culinary Institute, where he graduated with honors and received a Le Cordon Bleu Degree, he worked in some of Portland’s top restaurants, gastro pubs and country clubs. Peter moved to Chicago and held positions at The Sheraton Chicago Hotel and Towers (now The Sheraton Grande), The Westin Chicago North Shore and The Westin Chicago Northwest, where he opened three restaurants as the Executive Chef.

VENUE ACCESS Exclusive use of the reserved lodge and grounds during the contracted period.
Complimentary ceremony rehearsal; timing to be confirmed 30 days prior to the wedding and based on the resort’s booking calendar. Please plan on 45 minutes to an hour for rehearsal.

CEREMONY SET AND AUDIO VISUAL Lawn or deck ceremony set up of teak chairs, as well as an indoor backup option for inclement weather. Traditional ceremony sound package from our exclusive audio visual partner, Wasatch Audio Visual. EVENT SETUP Round tables (60” or 72”) and leather chairs for indoor dining. All wares including china, glassware, and silverware for your selected menu. White floor length linens with additional colors and textures available for an additional fee. Deer Valley’s wooden dance floor sized appropriately for your guest count and final layout. Additional items such as lighting, staging, or decor can be arranged and rented from Wasatch Audio Visual. CULINARY AND SERVICES TEAMS Dedicated culinary and service staff are expertly trained to execute the event according to the banquet event order. Bartender or beverage service attendant are scheduled as one bartender or attendant per fifty guests. Supplemental service team members can be requested for an additional fee. CUSTOM WEDDING CAKE FROM HONEYB CAKES & PASTRIE S A buttercream finished tiered wedding cake is included in the package price and is prepared for the number of guests. Private cake tasting and design consulation with HoneyB Cakes will be coordinated. Additional tiers or customizations are available for added charge.

REHEARSAL DINNERS Raise a toast to the upcoming nuptials with an elegant rehearsal dinner. Gather your families and friends for a special evening of celebration. Choose from plated or buffet-style dinner options. Multiple locations are available for the celebration. Our favorites include The Brass Tag or Cushing’s Cabin. WELCOME PARTIES Nothing says welcome to your wedding guests like a meet and greet social at one of our picturesque mountain venues. We have everything from Sticky Wicket, Deer Valley’s new vintage ski bar, to expansive patios at The Lodges at Deer Valley and Silver Baron Lodge. SUITE CATERING Prepare for your big day by stocking your bridal or groomsmen suite with all the essentials. Choose from a range of catering services, offering everything from fully catered meals to snacks, sweet treats, and non-alcoholic beverages. Additionally, select from a wide array of items including floor-length mirrors, steamers, coat racks, and more. Only available at The Lodges at Deer Valley and Silver Baron Lodge FAREWELL BRUNCH Send off your guests with one final hurrah at your farewell brunch. This weekend wrap up provides the perfect opportunity to catch up with all your guests, bid your farewells, and express gratitude for joining you in celebration. For easy convenience we recommend the Snow Park Lodge, Lodges at Deer Valley or Silver Baron Lodge.

VENUE QUESTIONS
Q. Do you host more than one event on the same day? A. No, we host one wedding, per day, per venue. Depending on your venue selection and time of year the ceremony start time is between 4 pm and 6 pm. The venue will be yours for the day until midnight. If you wish to extend the party we suggest a private function at the Sticky Wicket. Please note that vendor arrival and load in will be scheduled for earlier in the day. Q. Is the venue handicap accessible? A. We do our best to accommodate all mobility levels at each location. Our day lodges are ADA accessible but our on-mountain ceremony locations are not wheel chair friendly. All on-mountain venues are accessible via private shuttle. Q. Is parking or valet services available? A. Parking options will depend on your reception location. Silver Lake Lodge has parking for up to 60 vehicles and valet service can be arranged for an additional fee. At Empire Canyon Lodge, shuttle service is required and is managed by the client.
PRICING QUESTIONS
Q. Is there any additional fees that I need to be aware of like venue rental or F&B minimum? A. No, there are no reception venue rental fees or food and beverage minimums outside of the package pricing. You should be aware that some ceremony locations are additional and that alcohol is charged on consumption. In addition, all items are subject to a 25% service fee and applicable taxes. Q. Does pricing vary based on the day of the week or season? A. Yes, package pricing is based on the day of the week and season. Please refer to the package pricing laid out early in the brochure or winter package brochure for December to April pricing.

VENDOR QUESTIONS
Q. Is a wedding planner required? A. Yes, we require that you hire at least a month of coordinator. Any coordinator or planner must be a professional with their business license and certificate of insurance on file with the resort. The planner or coordinator cannot be a guest of the wedding. They must be present when any other vendors not organized by Deer Valley Resort’s team are setting up or breaking down. Any planners not listed on the Deer Valley referral list is subject to approval by the Deer Valley team prior to booking. Q. Can I hire my own vendors or is there a preferred vendor list we need to stick to? A. Deer Valley welcomes new talent in the wedding industry or we have a easy-to-reference referral sheet to make your selections seamless. All vendors must be licensed and produce their COI 60 days prior to the event date. Q. Do you offer on-site coordination? A. You will have one of our Banquet Sales Team members available to answer questions about Deer Valley along the way but we do not act as the overall wedding planner.
FOOD AND BEVERAGE QUESTIONS
Q. Is there a tasting included in the package? A. We include a private tasting for all Gold Packages which can be scheduled three to six months prior to your event. Our Silver Package comes with a private cake tasting only. Q. Do you allow outside food and beverage to be brought in? A. No, the Deer Valley Culinary team is here to prepare all food and beverage for the event. If you would like to customize the menu or discuss alternative options a private consultation will be scheduled. Due to Utah liquor laws, outside alcohol is not permitted at any event or function.
LODGING ACCOMMODATIONS
Deer Valley offers two lodging options: a promotional link or a contracted room block.
PROMOTIONAL LINK Guests can book directly through a private booking link provided by Deer Valley, offering the best available rate at the time of booking. Rooms are not held with this option, and rates may fluctuate based on availability. No financial commitment is required from the event host.
CONTRACTED BLOCK Reserve rooms at a fixed group rate, with a minimum number of
10 rooms for 2 nights. This option requires a food and beverage minimum spend based on the number of rooms contracted. The minimum spend can be used for
ancillary wedding events like the rehearsal dinner, welcome party, or farewell brunch. Lastly, the signatory is responsible for ensuring all rooms within the room block are fulfilled.

The Lodges at Deer Valley is a beloved mainstay rooted in traditional mountain charm. Accommodations range from hotel rooms to four-bedroom condominiums styled with refined furnishings, private decks, and hot tubs. For families, an outdoor pool slide and game room keep little ones entertained while yoga classes and massage treatment rooms await the adults. Adorned with industrial mining elements and artifacts, Silver Baron Lodge stands out as a completely unique experience inspired by the history of Park City.
